Thank you to everyone who has submitted a question via the Ask Maharani feature. We've gotten some really good questions and I'm slowly trying to make my way through answering them (if you indicate an e-mail, we can get back to you). Here's one question that didn't have an e-mail contact so I thought I share it with all our readers (not edited from original reader submission):
Dear ModernRani,
My wedding is in summer and for the reception I want to put my hair up not let it down. If I let it down, my face will be oily at the end of the day and I can’t enjoy dancing around if I worry about my hair.
There are nice pictures of brides with updo hairstyles but it’s hard to find nice ones for brown brides. Usually their hairstyle is hidden under the dupatta or they show a hairstyle with it let out.
Can you help me?

I'm not going to lie, I'm partial to the updo for an evening reception look. There is something so chic, so clean, and elegant about it so I'm really excited to share some looks with our readers :)
